All skill levels and modes of transportation welcome! This is a community oriented rescue-focused clinic for winter backcountry travelers.
Practice companion rescue (bring your gear, limited supply of loaner gear will be available).
Learn the basics if you have never done rescue. Refine skills if you are intermediate-advanced.
Advanced clinics (multiple burials, deep burial considerations) available on request.
Review warning signs of an unstable snowpack.
Learn about opportunities and resources available from local avalanche organizations, including HPAC, AK Safe Riders, Alaska Avalanche School, CNFAIC, MAT+SAR Search & Rescue
