Hatcher Pass Avalanche Center (HPAC) is seeking an Avalanche Forecaster or Assistant Forecaster for a seasonal position for the 2026-2027 winter season. HPAC forecaster positions work both independently and with other HPAC staff to collect and analyze field, snow, and weather data to provide public avalanche advisories for backcountry winter users in the HPAC forecast area. Additional work may include events, education, and community outreach tasks. This is a part-time (30 hours/week) seasonal position that will start in December and run through April.
