This season, we are excited to offer monthly “State of the Snowpack” chats with our field team. Join HPAC forecasters to go over updates to the website, submitting public observations and a review of our season’s history.
Whether you have never traveled in the backcountry, are a skier, splitboarder, snowmachiner or simply curious, all are welcome. We will have a Q&A driven by you, the public.
Cabin Fever Reliever Annual Fundraiser

Join us for our annual celebration of backcountry avalanche forecasting in Hatcher Pass!
The event will include live music from the Roland Roberts Band, dancing, refreshments, and new this year – all ticket holders are automatically entered in our door prize giveaways!
Help us pack the house for avalanche safety in support of your backyard avalanche center! Reconnect with friends, find new skiing and riding partners, and enjoy a night out in town as we celebrate our 17th year of operations and the return of longer days in the mountains.
Kids 13 and younger are free with a ticketed adult. There will be light food and appetizers provided, and locally brewed beer, cider, and kombucha available for purchase. Your first drink is on us. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
